I am Jaime Kenyon, a freelance project, proposal and business support specialist operating as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. I am the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact me at: jaime@jaimekenyon.com
2. What data I collect
When you contact me through this website, I collect your name, email address, company name (optional) and the content of your message. I do not use cookies for tracking or analytics, and I do not collect any data beyond what you voluntarily provide through the contact form.
3. Why I collect it
I collect your contact details and message in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries — and, where you are seeking to enter into a contract with me, pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
4. How I use your data
I use your data solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to communicate with you about potential or ongoing work. I will not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and I will not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
Where I handle personal data on a client’s behalf as part of a project, I act as a data processor under a written agreement with that client and only use the data on their instructions.
5. How long I keep your data
I retain contact form submissions for as long as is necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if we enter into a working relationship, for the duration of that relationship plus six years thereafter (in line with standard UK contractual limitation periods). If no working relationship results from your enquiry, I will delete your data within 12 months of our last communication.
6. Third-party processors
Contact form submissions are processed and stored by GoDaddy (my website platform provider), acting as a data processor on my behalf. GoDaddy’s privacy policy is available at godaddy.com.
I also use trusted service providers to run my business, such as email hosting, cloud storage and accounting software. Some providers, including GoDaddy, may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses are in place.I also use trusted service providers to run my business, such as email hosting, cloud storage and accounting software. To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at jaime@jaimekenyon.com. I will respond within one calendar month.
8. Complaints
If you have concerns about how I handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
